Two outstanding new options in the Istrian hotel scene
17 April 2019 Hotel developments

Istria, the gourmet capital of Croatia and often referred to as the Croatian Tuscany, is a meetings and incentives destination paradise. From its pristine beaches to its historic hilltop stone villages, Istria is a region which offers everything, and foodies will delight in its renowned truffles, world-class olive oil and indigenous wines. Long a favourite for meetings and incentive tourism, 2019 sees two outstanding new options in the Istrian hotel scene, both of which are opening in April, 2019.

Hotel Roxanich

Located in the heart of truffle country in the picturesque village of Motovun, Hotel Roxanich is a high-level boutique hotel for smaller groups looking for style and a great gourmet experience. The 3000 sqm hotel comprises 28 classic rooms, four luxury suites, a conference room, small club, wellness centre and garage for 36 vehicles. For clients looking to organise culinary incentive programmes, or smaller gatherings in an idyllic and historic setting, Hotel Roxanich is ideal.

Grand Park Hotel Rovinj

Much grander, and arguably the most important hotel opening in northern Croatia in 2019, Grand Park Hotel Rovinj has added another layer of 5-star quality to Rovinj. The jewel of Istrian tourism, the old town of Rovinj, can be enjoyed with views from across the water of the terraces of Grand Park Hotel Rovinj.

In addition to its spectacular waterfront location, Grand Park Hotel Rovinj comprises 209 rooms overlooking the old town, six restaurants, a congress hall, shopping promenade and a wellness and spa centre. Grand Park Hotel Rovinj offers plenty of space and greenery. In addtion to the landscape grounds of the hotel, all rooms come with spacious terraces and green gardens as standard, while 53 of them also include whirlpools.

Both Roxanich and Grand Park Hotel Rovinj offer an extra dimension to this already impressive destination, from boutique and intimate gourmet quality in an historic stone village, to a more contemporary and spacious hospitality experience overlooking one of Croatia's most attractive walled towns. Both come with the 5-star level and outstanding service, for which Istria has become known. Interested?
