Capital of Ljubljana

Capital Ljubljana is a medium-sized European city, whose charming pedestrianised centre oozes warmth, heritage, culture and hospitality. Enter the capital on a boat ride and then bike through the old town full of outstanding architecture, indulge in a food tour or let your creativity blossom at the graffiti workshop. Being a very walkable city, the event venues of historic Ljubljana Castle and Opera, National Gallery or the Swiss house are usually minutes away from the main hotels.

Take a traditional pletna boat to the island for the potica cake tasting, strengthen you muscles and row with the Olympic champions or soak up the views on a hot air balloon ride with stunning views of the Alps. A bit further on, Bohinj region offers plenty of adrenaline activies to experience the thrill of white water rafting, cannoning or mountain biking from Pokljuka plateau and hiking on Vogel, stopping for some typical Bohinj cheese tasting.

Adriatic coast

A short drive to the coast brings waterfront MICE options at Portorož and visits to photogenic medieval Piran. Enjoy a sailing regatta or a traditional boat ride with some oyster-tasting, hop on the fun multibikes or indulge in Fonda fish farm experience. Opt between an exclusive dining experience on a privatized pier, gala dinner at a salt store by the Adriatic sea or a fishermen’s picnic on a town square.

Karst

Lenting its name to karst landscapes and phenomena across the world, Slovenian karst region surprises event professionals with the grandiosity of the Postojna cave, graciousness of the Lipizzaner horses and the share beauty of the countryside.
