Which event location makes your heart beat faster?
22 May 2017 MICE

With such a variety of special event locations in Slovenia, it is a pleasure proposing the ones best suited to accommodate your group size and needs. Intours DMC draws your attention to five special venues, where we can create memories that last for a lifetime.

1. Anglers’ fest on a privatized market square

With 46.6 km, the Slovenia's stretch of Adriatic coast is amongst the shortest of Europe. Yet every kilometre of the coastline is a new surprise, with olive groves, colourful fishing villages and the charming Riviera. For an exclusive experience, we can privatize a market square in one of the charming fishing villages and host anglers’ fest there.

2. Themed dinner event at the Ljubljana castle

Ljubljana castle, standing on a hill above the city for about 900 years, is the capital’s main attraction. After extensive renovation over the more recent years, the castle serves as a special venue with modern meeting and banqueting facilities, where you can organize gala evenings, cocktail receptions or themed dinner events. Such as Queens and kings reception.

3. Modern redesign of the 106-year-old Tartini theatre

One of the most photogenic cities in the Mediterranean, Piran lies charmingly at the tip of a narrow peninsula. In the heart of the town stands the Tartini theatre, built in 1910 in mixed Historicist and Secessionist styles. When hired exclusively, the theatre can be re-designed to cater to a range of events, from black-tie award receptions to modern gala dinners.

4. Dining experience at the Bled castle

The sights of Bled are almost dreamlike – the dramatic Julian Alps circling the blue-green lake with an island dotted in the middle and imposing Bled castle set high up on a cliff. Inside the medieval walls of Bled castle groups can enjoy business dinners, cocktail receptions or gala events, with medieval dances or knights greeting them at the oldest castle in Slovenia.

5. Igloo party by the ski slopes

When winter comes and snow falls, Slovenia becomes a true winter wonderland, where guests experience dog sledding, snow shoeing, snow biking, ice-climbing and zip-lining over the world's biggest ski jumping hill. In one of the ski resorts incentive groups can enjoy an eskimo party, with cocktails served in ice shot glasses, Swedish fire torches and of course igloos.
